At this point we weren't called anything. We were just a group of role-players in Cairns, Australia getting together and playing every now and then (mostly AD&D 2nd Edition). One of us then started running games at his local high school, and this progressed into "Greyhawk - The New Era" (a successful play-by-email game which ran every day for over 12 months). You can see this project (now closed) by clicking <FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#0000FF" FACE="Arial" ><A HREF="http://www.home.iig.com.au/~cns01899/Saga/Ghawk/ghawk.html" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.home.iig.com.au/~cns01899/Sag"><U>here</U></A></FONT>.</div> <bR> <div> In August 2000, we switched to D&D 3rd Edition and started a new campaign set in the Traft canton of Perrenland (World Of Greyhawk). Our characters, under various DMs, came to be known throughout Traft as "The Company Of The Griffon". A number of the PC's can often be seen riding their majestic Griffons high in the skies over Traft and, in their spare time, some of the characters run a business in Niederschlauss (east of Traft) called "Griffon's Exotic Goods". </div> <bR> <div> Check out The Adventures Of The Griffons through the link above!</div> <bR> <div> In May 2001, the club began playing d20 Star Wars as well as 3rd Edition Dungeons And Dragons. In the future we also hope to play d20 Call Of Cthulhu, as well as Lord Of The Rings (Games Workshop) miniatures.</div> <bR> <div> The club, at present, has 17 senior members, and 16 junior members. Membership is increasing steadily every month. The official venue for Game Days and ReefCon is Trinity Bay State High School.</div> <bR> <div> If you live in Cairns and want to join us, follow the How To Join Us link above!</div> <bR> <div> <B>LIVING GREYHAWK</B></div> <bR> <div> Everbody in the club is a member of the RPGA. In fact, it's mandatory to belong to the RPGA in The Company Of The Griffon (both Junior and Senior members). </div> <bR> <div> This allows us to regularly alternate private club-based scenarios with official Living Greyhawk or Living Force scenarios at game days (or conventions such as ReefCon).</div> <bR> <div> Check out the latest info on <U>ReefCon</U> through the link above!</div> <bR> <div> Bruce Paris, a member, is the Point Of Contact (POC) for Living Greyhawk - Perrenland for the RPGA in Australia and New Zealand.
